| The short story is that R5 is a band made up of 4 Colorado-born Lynches and their Californian friend. But to the R5Family, R5 is so much more.
First of all, there are the Lynches. There’s Mama and Papa, Stormie and Mark. Then there’s their kids: Riker, Rydel, Rocky, Ross, and Ryland. They’ve always had a passion for performing. Even before they formed a band, they were called R5, and would put on performances for their family. They’d act, they’d dance, they’d sing. Riker, when he was 16, wanted to move to Los Angeles to pursue an acting career. The result? The entire family moved to Northridge, California. There they all auditioned for acting and dancing roles. Rocky taught himself to play guitar by watching YouTube videos. Hethen taught Riker and Ross. Before you knew it, all of the Lynches (yes, even Ryland) could play instruments! (Well, Rydel already knew how to play piano.) The Lynches met Ellington Lee Ratliff at a dance studio. They all became friends, and before long formed a band. | The R5 Fan Pages was started by Tamara (aka the person writing this—hi!) in 2013 because she was getting really really tired of not having one site where you could access all things R5. The website started off as a random little boring blog, but soon developed into a full website full of facts, fun, and more!
Our Goal: To create a fun and professional website that the entire R5 Family can access and enjoy. On this site, there’s a LOT of stuff!
