Okay, so, as you know, I started this site a while ago, and, as you’ve probably noticed, it can get to be pretty empty and messy in some areas. There may be links to pages that do not exist, or pages that have nothing in them. Also, the blog in pretty inactive for the most part.

Let’s fix this.

There are a few jobs you can take on.

Jobs

Editor This is the default job, in my opinion. As an editor, you gain the rights to add and edit pages and posts. If you want this job, you need to either leave a comment below or email me at tamara@ther5family.com. You MUST be R5Family and MUST have a WordPress account. (WordPress is free though.)

Contributor In case you don’t want the crazy responsibility that comes with an editor, you may want to become a contributor. And it’s pretty straightforward. As a contributor, you can write up your own posts and submit them for review. If I approve, then I’ll upload your post onto the blog, and you’ll get all the credit for it. If you want this job, either comment below or email me at tamara@ther5family.com. You MUST be R5Family and MUST have a WordPress Account. You can read about what kind of posts are acceptable at the bottom of this page.

Sponsors/Affiliates: If you have a company or website or whatever, and you want to advertise it on this site, then great! If you’d like to trade links, then email me at tamara@ther5family.com and we’ll work something out. If you’d like to simply place an ad on our site without linking back to us, then you’ll have to pay, so email me with what kind of ad you want. (Text or image, size? Number of characters? Stuff like that) We PREFER advertising other fan sites, whether they are R5 or for any other fandom.

Guest Article You can write a guest article to be posted on the blog! This way, you can be published on our website without having to become an official contributor. See the post requirements at the bottom of the page so you know what we’re accepting. To submit an article, please email it to tamara@ther5family.com as either an attachment (PDF, txt, word, pages) or in the body of the text. Please include your name or alais in the subject line along with a title and the words “Guest Article” (Basically, the subject line should look like “Guest Article Title: blah blah Name: Ima Writer”) NOTE: For advertisements, you must become a sponsor, and if you’d like to write about a show, please go to our “Fan Reviews” section under “Community”).

What we look for in a post:

We do not accept posts that do not match the below requirements.

First of all, it must be directly related to R5. No personal updates, no “music-in-general” stuff. It must relate to R5 or the R5 Family. (Note: Stuff specifically related to Ross, such as A&A updates, will be accepted in moderation. Remember that this is an R5 site, not a Ross Lynch site.)

Next, it must be a real post. No random uploads of random photos or quotes, no silliness, no riff-raffl no fluff. Posts must be an article at is actually written out, a news update, a story, etc. if you want to post something short like a photo or two, a fun quote, or a short imagine, then GO SOMEPLACE ELSE. There are lots of cool Tumblrs out there, and there’s also a good chance we’ll have a place for that stuff in the R5 Family Mag. Just not the blog.

Finally, it must be appropriate for most ages. Yes, I know R5 can get really bad and their lyrics really dirty, but let’s not go too far. Some occasional cussing is okay, but don’t go crazy. A few dirty jokes are alright but nothing too explicit or descriptive.

Note: Exceptions to these rules CAN be made, but they must be approved by me beforehand if that is to be the case.
