Ellington Ratliff’s Quick Profile:

Ellington Lee Ratliff is the only member of R5 who is not a Lynch. He plays drums, and occasional does some backup vocals.

Quick info: Ellington, also known as Ratliff, met the Lynches in a dance studio. He’s often known as the goofiest member. He’s the only member of R5 to have a girlfriend, Kelly Voosen. He’s appeared on the pilot of Victorious and in a dance sequence in The Muppets.

Ellington’s Story

Ellington Lee Ratliff is a really funny guy. Between sassy humor on Twitter and general goofiness on camera, there’s nothing shy or boring about this guy. This is the guy that, when you first meet him, you’re not too sure about him, but you soon realize that he’s really just a great guy with lots of spirit.

He’s known for saying funny stuff. In R5 TV Episode 1, Ellington said the infamous line: “Why do they make graham crackers so hard to open? I’m so mad.” (by the way, I checked, and yes, those annoying packages are actually really hard to open.)

Some people say that Ellington has a different attitude on the stage. Sure enough, when he’s behind a set of drums, he gets all into it. He really plays, and rocks out like crazy until his face is red. And this is a really nice change from all those bands where the drummers drums but doesn’t go all out.

Ellington’s most recent ex girlfriend is Kelly Voosen, whom he was in a relationship with for five years.

Being the only member of R5 not related to the others, Ellington is shipped with the others. The biggest inter-R5 ship is Rydellington (Rydel x Ellington) but some people also go for Rockliff or Rosslington.
