So what’s happening with you? How did you celebrate New Years?
As you may know, R5 celebrated at a show in Hershey, Pennsylvania!
There’s rumors about Rocklexa, Rydellington, and Riker kissing someone, but the only verified kiss was…Ross.
To the random girl in the crowd that I kissed– I hope you liked it!
Now, I’m not gonna say who he kissed, because of haters, and you may never find out, because at least a dozen girls are seriously claiming it was them.
But yeah, it’s true. Ross kissed a girl on New Years Eve.
So what are your plans?

Hi! Are YOU a mother/father, wondering if you should allow your child to go to an R5 concert? Well, I’m here to helpnyou decide! Just sit back and read this article!
Is It Safe?
Sure, it’s safe! Sort of. If your child is old enough to do things on his or her own, then the concerts are relatively safe. Security’s pretty good at these things and the chances of there being dangerous characters is extraordinarily slim. Of course, as R5 grows bigger, I can’t guarantee that it’ll always be this safe. Just remember: Just because a concert may be held at a club, doesn’t mean that they’re actually going clubbing.
Is R5 an appropriate band?
Ha. Ha ha. Think of it this way: If your kid is under 11, you really shouldn’t let them go, especially if you’re picky about good influences. Now, I’m not saying that R5 are horrible people, but going to one of their shows…Think of it this way. The lead guitarist just got a tattoo. The rhythm guitarist does hip thrusts all the time. The members have cursed their fair share, occasionally even in shows. Many of their lyrics include “Like damn” and “Dancin’ out my pants” and “So right, super tight” and “short skirts, so hot” and “sexy shades, two piece” and “love the things they do, keep my up at nights” and “I can’t remember what I did tonight”…and so on. Now, I’ve been there, done that, and the fact is that older fans get a kick out of this. To them, the most suggestive lyrics are the funniest things ever, like a joke, so you don’t have to worry about the. getting influenced in any bad way.
But I’ve seen, with my own eyes, children (usually under 11) whose parents kept complaining about how inappropriate the show was.
I’d just like to remind you that although Ross is on a children-friendly TV show, does not automatically mean that R5 is also children-friendly. R5 is NOT a Disney band, as any member of the R5 Family will be eager to tell you.
Is it worth it?
This question is simply answered by who they are. Do they want to go to the show because of the famous Ross Lynch, or because they just adore R5? There’s a difference.
If it’s Ross they care about, then your kid is a “Rossian”. if this is the case, I advise you not to take them. Ross does other events such as meet and greets for Teen Beach Movie and Austin & Ally, and these things often come free. Heck, you can even go to a live taping of Austin & Ally for free. Trust me, there’s no shortage of stuff out there for Rossians, and much of it is free.
Now, that’s not to say that they won’t enjoy an R5 show, but I would still advise not to take them. The R5 Family (and by this, I mean the fans of the ENTIRE band, not just “Ross and his siblings”) has a hard enough time getting tickets, and Rossians buying up their tickets really builds up the resentment. After all, if there was a contest for a huge prize pack worth thousands of dollars filled with a bike, television, boat, computer, and iPad, and you had none of these, and then some person who only wanted the bike won, well, that just doesn’t feel fair.
So again, I say you should save your money and take your kid to a taping or meet and greet if all they want is to see Ross. But if they truly love R5, then take them to a show.
R5 is a band in California. It's members are Riker Lynch, Ellington Ratliff, Rydel Lynch, Rocky Lynch, and Ross Lynch, (don't forget Ryland!)
There is no R5 fan base. Their fans are called the R5Family.
